The Foreign Relations of the United States (FRUS) series is the official record of US Foreign Affairs. Volumes date from the Lincoln administration and are published annually by the US Department of State. Dates of publication do not always correspond to dates of events so you will likely need to consult multiple volumes.

Each annual set of volumes includes separate volumes for differnt regions of the world (Europe, the British Commonwealth, China, the Far East etc.). In addition, there are supplemental volumes for all of the major Conferences the Second World War (Potsdam, Malta & Yalta, etc.).
