Oxford Music Online (remote access: UVM affiliates only) is the premier reference work for the study of music and musicians, with additional emphasis on opera and jazz. It "comprises the full text of The New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians, second edition, (2001), The New Grove Dictionary of Opera, (1992), and The New Grove Dictionary of Jazz, second edition, (2002)." It has full-text biographical information about composers, performers, and other prominent individuals in the world of music.
