Samuel J. May Anti-Slavery CollectionDonated to Cornell University in 1870, this is the collection of Rev. Samuel Joseph May of over 10,000 titles (pamphlets and leaflets), which document the anti-slavery struggle at the local, regional, and national levels. The collection is comprised of sermons, position papers, offprints, local Anti-Slavery Society newsletters, poetry anthologies, freedmen's testimonies, broadsides, and Anti-Slavery Fair keepsakes.
