A guide to creating digital timelines using an open source tool called Timeline JS.

About Timeline JS

Timeline JS was created by Knightlabs at Northwestern University for the use of journalists. It's a free, easy to use platform for creating timelines. Visit the Timeline JS site at: https://timeline.knightlab.com/


The Timeline JS site provides a good walk through of setting up a new timeline but I have created some additional guides to help you get started working with tool.
