Tips and tricks for connecting to the library's online journals and databases from anywhere in the world.

Options for UVM Affiliates

If you're on the UVM network . . .

Use any links to access resources, including through the Dana Health Sciences Library website (https://libraries.uvm.edu/dana)

Tip: This does not apply on the UVM Guest Network. Try one of the other options.

If you have the VPN installed . . .

  1. Log into the sslvpn2.uvm.edu/full VPN with your UVM NetID.
  2. Use any links to access resources, including through the Dana Health Sciences Library website (https://libraries.uvm.edu/dana)

Tips:

  • Be sure you use the /full option when connecting to the VPN.
  • See the UVM Knowledge Base or contact the UVM Help Desk at (802) 656-2604 for help with the VPN, Cisco AnyConnect, or Duo Multifactor Authentication.

if you're anywhere else . . .

  1. Go to the Dana Health Sciences Library home page (https://libraries.uvm.edu/dana) and use the links there (e.g. Journals, PubMed, CATQuest).
  2. When prompted, log in with your UVM NetID and password.
