Bio:

Maria Sckolnick is the statistical design and data specialist at the UVM Libraries. She provides research and quantitative data analysis support to the UVM community in the form of consultations, walk-in hours and workshops. Maria combines extensive academic life science lab experience with wide-ranging statistics and data analysis expertise. She is passionate about making data analysis methodology accessible to students and researchers through individual support sessions and by facilitating collaborative community discourse around data research theory. Her personal data interests circle around a better understanding of how best to explore complex social concepts such as diversity and intersectionality using mathematical and statistical tools.
