Research data management

UVM Libraries offers consultations on creating data management (and sharing) plans. We offer help complying with funding mandates and identifying appropriate platforms for sharing research data. We are experts on FAIR best practices and would love to help you adhere to the principles of findability, accessibility, interoperability and resuability (FAIR).

Data visualization

Data visualization consulting helps you visualize and present your data and ideas in the form of graphs, figures and infographics. Use these visualis in papers, posters, presentations and other projects. We also offer advice on selecting and using software

GIS support & consulting

If your data lends itself to geographic locations or mapping, GIS support and consulting services are available to students, postdocs, and researchers at UVM and the surrounding area. We can help you with:

  • Finding solutions to technical and software issues

Statistical consulting

Statistical software support and consulting is available to students, postdocs, and researchers at UVM. We offer guidance and discussion of the best statistical approach and can help with troubleshooting and interpretation of data.

Drop-in hours

We offer drop-in hours for quick help with short questions at both Howe and Dana libraries. Check the drop-in hours.
