Who can use the library?

Everyone is welcome at UVM’s libraries. But different patrons have different levels of access to our resources and equipment.

Interlibrary loan

There may be a time when we don’t own an article, journal or book that you’re looking for. When that happens, UVM Libraries’ interlibrary loan team works their magic.

Borrow + renew

Request items, recommend purchases or explore ways to check out specialized equipment.

Off-campus access

If you work or study at UVM, you are able to access materials that the library subscribes to when you’re off campus.

Computers in the library

When you visit the libraries, we have public computers equipped with the latest specialized software for your research needs. The libraries also lend tech equipment to our UVM affiliates.
